Generating leads through highly targeted marketing is what the Empower Network Blogging System, Top Producer Formula, Module 6 teaches. In this module you are taught a basic blueprint on how to market to get the most interested buyer who are already looking to buy your products. There are two types of advertising.
Online Advertising can be targeted to local interests or global interests depending on your product.
Favorites for online advertising:
Online Periodicals (News and Magazines)
Periodicals such as newspapers and local or national magazines. Include a link in your ad directly to a registration page not to a sales page with these.
Radio – which is usually expensive.
Blueprint for marketing a live event for the Empower Network Blogging System
You advertise your event with either online advertising or offline advertising. You can target your audience to people who want a home based business or a part-time job. We are not going to go over how to write you ads here, as this is only the set up process for marketing a live event for Empower Network Blogging System.
You might want to do coop advertising with your team members or advertise on your own. If you do a coop then here is how to allow for fair distribution of the guests.
Ensure sales are credited to the affiliate/rep that generates the lead (registrant). You do this by using their affiliate name at the end of a registration page.
Coops – This is where you share the advertising costs for the live event. Each participant gets a buyer from the live presentation this is shared until all buyers and affiliates are matched. If there are more affiliate than buyers then you would match the affiliates who didn’t get a buyer this time around with your next live event for the Empower Network Blogging System.
Buying the Ad:
Contact an online local magazine and look at the ads on the website. If they have advertising such as banner ads, you can contact the owners of the magazine and inquire about whether they will sell you an ad. Ask them about the cost of their ads per impression or click, banner size, demographics, how many impressions and how many daily visitors. Look for native ads. Native ads are ads withing the copy of the articles on the page. This makes your ad look like it’s a news article. It’s embedded into the content of the news.
Target these ads by the City or the surrounding cities in which you are holding your live event. Target by Interest, use other familiar home-based business company names or the names of other Gurus, or people who are tied with online business in general. Don’t’ just send them over to your optin page. Send them to a registration page for an online event.
Most generally advertise here for a live event and once again do not use a sales page or opt in page, make sure it is a registration page. Place the ads for sales or business development. These used to be more popular but Craigslist no longer allows clickable links. But you can use the URL to you registration page. This is an inexpensive way to advertise. Most ads are free or cost $25.
Create a registration page for your affiliates or coop team members.
If you are doing a live event for your team, they can get credit for the sale if you have them use their user name at the end of the link for the registration. This way the affiliate gets credit for the registration. Use this code after the Registration Link:
Your registration page should go to a optin page that you have created in your autoresponder. You can get a list of everyone who has registered by downloading the .csv file right from the autoresponder. Then make a copy of the spreadsheet and use it at the live event. This way you can credit the affiliate with the sale. If others have participated in the advertising by paying money, then you could just use a coop instead of the username. Then if sales occur, then the sales are split between the coop members who have helped pay for the ad. This helps you to generate results for your entire team. Which is the lifeblood of your business.
The Actual Live Event for Empower Network Blogging System– Deliver the Goods
Show up at the event at least a half hour to fourty-five minutes early. Have your Table ready for registration. It’s best to register them outside the room. You want to mention in your registration ad that the doors will close at a certain time. Have your .csv sheet of guests from your database handy. Alphabetize by first name. Make sure your affiliate or coop participant gets credit if he/she has brought the guest in. Give each guest a badge to wear but make sure the corresponding affiliate’s ID is on the tag. Anyone showing up early will have to wait outside the room. Tell them that the doors will open up 15 minutes before the event. This gives you privacy before the event with team members who might be discussing things that you don’t want the guests to be a part of. If someone enters anyway, kindly escort them out and tell them you are still in the setting up process and can they please wait until the door open.
Have less chairs set up at the tables then needed, so it gets more people to sit up closer to the front. Usually half of all that registered will show up. You want to create scarcity and urgency before the event begins. Have music playing; Loud music that progressively increases. This raises their heart rate, Be sure it is upbeat and fast paced. You also need a projector/Screen and a Microphone.
After Introduction, have someone else introduce you. Then the music can be turned down and the door locked.
The Live Event – Deliver the Goods:
Team Member welcomes the guest.
He begins with his story:
Tells Background? How did he get here?
Where he was…then when he first met (You) here is how his life changed!
Testimonial goes something like this:
Before I met (Me the speaker) I was….and then since I met (Me the speaker), I have…(explains how his life has changed for the better because of this product/meeting speaker).
This gives edification:
Introduce the Speaker
Establish Authority/Give guests a reason to listen.
OK not to have huge results they could just list notable achievements (teacher, community service, something perhaps that the guests could relate to)
Introduce Yourself/Build Rapport
Tell a funny story
What’s your background? Where did you grow up?
What schools did you go to? Career experience?
What brought you here? Be authentic…no pretending about who you are! You are going to tell them that they are just like you.
Dress casual like everyday. Engage and make them laugh.
Establish Credibility (if needed) Could do a little bragging but make it funny!
Remove Buying Resistance/Apprehension by
being straight with them…Am I here to sell you something? Yes.
I am here to sell you something and I hope you buy this for you because of what it can do for you.
Go on to say that we already know what our goals are so I hope you will get the benefit of this for yourself. It’s up to you if you buy it. Makes no difference to me.
Explain what brought you to the Empower Network Blogging System.
Delivering the Goods:
Sales Presentation Continued:
Remove any distractions, out of respect for others, please silence your phones (physically take out your phone and put it on silence)
Use the ‘Shock Factor’
Show them numbers, or show them some shocking statistics.
What’s the problem?
Pain Points – Present a problem that the client is facing
Keep talking about pain points.
Why hasn’t it been solved?
What would it be like if the problem were solved? What would life be life if it were solved?
How does the ‘Empower Network Blogging System’ solve the problem?
Testimonials should be either Live or within the presentation (Before I was _________since then I have_______) Choose people in different age groups for your testimonials and different genders so that the customers can identify with that person.
We’re not going to charge you $XXX but instead you can get started today for just… $XXX
Divide the Audience Into groups:
Right now you’re one of these people:
- You’re listening and maybe you have decided this is not for you. That’s fine! In a moment, when we break, you’re free to leave.
- You like what you hear, you want to get started but may have a few questions (identify people in the room who are qualified to answer)
- You’re the “go getters”. You’re ready to take action and you are ready to make a move. In a moment, when we break you can go straight to the back of the room.
Tell a story that actually gets them involved.
Then break the room and get them into the actual registration process.
This blueprint should give you an idea of how to set up a live event and make it a success. I hope this has helped you in some way and if so, please comment and share it with your friends.
